Rose Fina
Rose Fina is a Project Coordinator under the Industrial Relations Unit. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Telecommunications with a number of certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Security Management (CISM).
She has over 4 years developing Internet of Things initiatives using advanced analytics, standing up big-data analytical tools, creating and maintaining models, and on boarding compelling new data sets for companies that require to upgrade digitally.
As a pioneer for Women in IoT and African women in technology, she has presented her research to regions such as USA, Uganda and delving into other focus areas such as the EU/Asia nations.
Currently, she is working on an Artificial Intelligence research based on identifying Africanized solutions which can be greatly impacted by this technology. She is also harnessing the power of Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality in its use for conservation of elephants, improving educational literacy and water sanitation.
